This calculator estimates what a historical Ethereum purchase could be worth today. Lump-sum and date comparison use one daily close per chosen date. The monthly DCA tab walks Coinbase Exchange daily ETH-USD candles in chunks of about 250 days, with an 8-second timeout per request, then values the accumulated ETH only while the live Coinbase ETH/USD feed is available. If that feed is down, the run is paused instead of substituting a placeholder price.
Results exclude exchange fees, slippage, taxes, and days with no candle. They are educational estimates, not a forecast or a record of any specific wallet. For weekly or bi-weekly purchase modeling with the same fail-closed feed, use the ETH DCA Simulator.
