Paste an address that starts with 0x. The lookup asks a no-key public Ethereum node for that address's native ETH balance and shows the answer as a snapshot from the moment a node responds. If Coinbase ETH/USD is available, it also shows an estimated dollar value. A zero balance is a real snapshot, not a missing result.

It does not connect a wallet or read a seed phrase, private key, or password. Never paste those here.

Checking an Ethereum wallet balance safely

Read-only by design

This tracker asks only for a public Ethereum address or ENS-style lookup and returns its native ETH balance and an approximate USD value. You never connect a wallet, sign a message or share a recovery phrase. Every Ethereum balance is public on-chain data, so looking one up carries no risk to the funds.

It is deliberately a snapshot: it does not show ERC-20 tokens, NFTs, transaction history or alerts. If the live price feed is unavailable the USD value pauses rather than showing an outdated number.

Good habits when tracking your holdings

Tracking is also a security check. Use it to confirm that funds are where you expect.

Bookmark the tool rather than following links in messages; fake "portfolio" sites are a common phishing route.
No legitimate tracker ever needs your seed phrase or a signature to show a balance.
Compare the full address character by character; address-poisoning scams use look-alike addresses.
For tokens and full history, use a block explorer such as Etherscan with the same address.
